算法 · How this is computed
Year, month, day and hour pillars from the sexagenary cycle, with the solar year turning at 立春 and the month at each 節. The day pillar is anchored to a known epoch and counted forward — not approximated.
局數 from the solar term and its 三元 by the standard 拆補 table — 冬至驚蟄一七四, 大寒春分三九六, and the rest. Earth plate laid 陽順陰逆 from the Ju palace; heaven plate, eight gates, nine stars and eight spirits rotated on the hour branch.
月將 from the solar term, seated on the hour branch to raise the 天盤. From it the 四課 and then the 三傳 by 賊剋. 空亡 is carried from the day's 旬.
積年 reduced through the 72-cycle to place 太乙 among the eight palaces, with 計神 alongside. Partial by declaration — the full 主客算 requires tables not reproduced here, and this edition says so rather than pretending otherwise.
命宮 counted from 寅 by lunar month and hour, 身宮 opposite; 五行局 from the Life palace; 紫微 placed by lunar day, then the 紫微 and 天府 series across the twelve palaces. Lunar dates come from the ICU Chinese calendar. Simplified by declaration — the 五行局 is taken from the Life palace element rather than the full 納音 table, and only the fourteen main stars are placed, without 四化 or the minor stars.
The hexagram is raised by 時間起卦 — year branch, month, day for the upper trigram, plus the hour for the lower, and the moving line by the same sum. From it: 體用 and their five-element relation, the nuclear trigrams, the changed hexagram, and for 六爻 the 納甲 branches with 六親 and the 六神 sequence started from the day stem.
A structure is not declared true. It is corroborated: three or more of the eight methods speaking to it is 應, two is 動, one is 伏, none is 靜. Every witness is named on the card, with the method that raised it. Nothing is averaged and nothing is hidden.
Chinese metaphysics is a symbolic tradition, not a validated forecasting method. Nothing here establishes consent, intent, guilt or another person's conduct. The counsel on each card is ordinary practice and holds on a still hour too.
